thanks... waiting on the machine shop to do they're thing on the block. I should have my parts in that i ordered tues or wed, the cam won't be here until the end of week. I'll post pictures as i go. I'm stoked to get all this in and drive my truck again...

subed, got a new 5.3 also and i am planning on my build. lots of different routes to go. I want to eventually do a back end turbo to have a sleeper of sorts even with the hood popped. hope to see more pics and discrips soon!

ok, ive been doing late nights at work I got it down to the block. The Heads are off to the machine shop to get vated, milled. Here is what i have so far.
the lifters
Cam
Valve Springs
Head Gaskets, Exhaust Gaskets, Front Cover Gasket
Complete Rear Cover
Started the removal
Got most of the accessories off took about 1 hour to get down to here.
I am down to the block and will have it out tomorrow so ill have more pictures. I plan on hitting the engine bay with some Simple Green and cleaning it up. I'll also have some better pictures of the parts too. I didn't have time to bust everything out of the box the other day.

ok so im done now figured id post all the pics. ive been very busy at work and havent really been on.
heres the valve springs on both
heres the bloc back from the machine shop
my motor yanked out
got the heads all together timing set, and front cover on
oil pan, exhuast, sparkplugs, rear cover all buttoned up
ill have to load up my final install pictures and my video clip of it running straight pipe
