Well, i checked the stock alternator, it is a 90 model setup, 1 wire alternator. But it was dead, swapped to a new autozone piece, it went bad, warrantied it and it was 11.4 volts, started it and went to 13.8-14.0 like it should, 5 miles drive later, i checked it and the damn thing was down to 13.0-12.8, so i assume the regulator inside got burned up.
How much voltage is required on the keyd source to activate the charging system? I thought it was 12 V, so what needs to be done?
