how much did the new springs lower the front end? Do you run solid end links on the sway
bar?

Not sure how much lower it is yet. Just ordered my link parts last night. They should be here in the next day or two. Found some spherical ends like the posi-links Ridetech sells, but much cheaper. Going to do them on both ends to eliminate any binding. They will be solid but will allow for some more rotation.

Those wheels are awesome! makes me wish I got 18s instead of 20s. Look like volk te37s (or the rota te37 knock offs I was thinking of getting) What's the weight on them?

Thanks man. Yeah that's why I like them. I believe they are 26-28lbs each.

Might have them ready and on the truck next weekend. Depends on how busy the coaters are. Will be running a 315 series tire all the way around.
Just seen your reply lol! Thanks for the info man! I'm really leaning toward getting a set of these to save weight over my chrome 20" torque thrusts without paying an arm and a leg.

Very cool project something different for sure. Here where I live autocross isn't really big so never been really exposed to it but looks like a lot of fun.

What DJM LCAs are you running 3" or 4"? w/ a 6" rear flip right?

Also on her truck is she still at 3/6? 3" springs right?

Of the two options would you do LCAs or setup like hers? Or maybe even do spindles and a 1" spring? Any alignment issues on either. I'm in the process of trying to do a "pro-touring" style truck also.

If you went with a 275/45/18 on all four corners (let's say Bridgestone RE71 or toyo R888's) on your 18x9's you would have minimal sidewall roll in the corners and probably have faster lap times compared to 315's. A 18x11 or 18x12 would make sense for a 315 for autoX. I ran a 305/30/19 Michelin pilot SS on 19x10.5's on all 4 corners with good results.

If I'm not mistaken the pchrods c10 runs a 18x12 wheel with 315/30/18 Falken on all 4's. Or at least it did the last time I saw it.

I am running a 3" drop arm. No alignment issues. The benefit of the arms is less weight, either combo would be pretty effective.

Ran the truck last weekend and they worked well. Ideally I'd like to have the wheels widened to 10 or 10.5. Just to eliminate the sidewall flex. Running a few pounds higher pressure was working just fine. Rob's truck has 335's on 18x12's. Going through pictures from last weekend. I'll get some pictures up here soon.

335's are crazy, but so is the rest of his truck so I trust his judgment. How do you like the long first gear of the 4l80 for auto cross? My theory was it seems appealing b/c you could just leave it in 1st and rev the heck outta it. Any feed back you could give on that theory?
