i want to ditch the torsions completely as well as unloading weight on the front end.

i just got my last piece of the puzzle for the gm lux nav upgrade
6 disc changer , 6 disc harness, gm touch nav, bose lux amp, gps antenna and the nav disc are either here or on the way.

julien i had a small leak from the back of the motor somewhere that was bugging me , thats one , i had an issue with oil pressure on start up , it wouldnt prime for about 3-5 seconds after it fired but then it was completely fine , pretty sure that is the pickup o ring so pulling the oil pan and the heads is more a pita than just the entire motor . this way i can also inspect all bearing as well. so if i have to ill throw all new bearing and rings in it with a quick hone and ill be ok . but i doubt i will .

just sucks custom headgaskets are going to be the only solution . 6 bolt heads gaskets arent as easy to find.

didnt get anything done today because i had to work late but that worked out good got on a prevailing wage job today.

tomorrow ill have a solution to it all with any luck. shouldnt have a problem getting it ready for the throwdown but i wont be handing my keys over to their " pro driver"

Dang, you and Dave both seemed upset by the new rules. I agree with you that it sucks that we can't go ***** out on the full track but they did say we could have a few hot laps of our own which is cool, at the very least i'll be able to tell what the limitations of my truck is as opposed to what my limitations are!
We'll see how it all turns out, get your rig back together!!
