I ran the TR6 plugs gapped at .030" in there with no probs to 9.65/144mph. Remember dielectric grease is a insulator not a conductor. Try to keep it off the contact portion of the plug, and coils.

Damn, I thought dielectric grease was conductive. What's the point of it then? The plug ends of the wires were crimped pretty good so as to keep them from poppping off, wondering if the fact that they are rounded now effects the transfer of charge to the plugs. When I pull the plugs I'll round them back out and bleed the air out of the boots. If it worked for curt it will work or me!

Hopefully those two things will help out.
I used TR-6 gaped at .032.I would try .030 like Jared did. Get the bugs worked out and nail the tune...you'll be havin some fun!!!
I love the way that turbo spools up! Sounds awesome.

Dielectric grease prevents corrosion, keeps contact points clean and aids in heat transfer/removal.

To seal, insulate, and lube. I always thought the same thing until my electrician buddy informed me different. Antiseize is the WORST thing to get on the porcelain portion of the plug. It cost my Dad a boat race once!

I got the wideband working, still have to calibrate it but she seems to be in the ballpark of where she needs to be AFR wise. We'll see after I calibrate it how close it really is. Also got a boost controller and a boost gauge, I plan on getting those on today and hopefully that will allow me to get some kind of control over the boost. This 1-5psi crap is getting annoying!
I can't bump the rev limiter up from 4500 until I get the rest of the VE tables calibrated but a little hike in psi will hopefully keep me motivated to continue on this path to 800rwhp!! That's the immediate goal.

Yeah be careful turning it up without your tuner there, and when it gets the spark it needs could also go lean. How the hell do you get 1psi of boost? Lol
If you had 400hp running like **** on 5psi 16 should be some pretty decent power.

I have full faith in the parts, for as you know the motor is proven, as are the hot parts and tranny. Only thing unproven in this set-up is me and my ability to make it work!

Wideband is up and running good. I calibrated it and then took the truck out for a spin and it's reading right around 11.6 at WOT so that's one more thing done and off the list.
Also hooked up my boost gauge, turns out I'm running 6-7 psi which now has me worried since the truck is only making 340rwhp right now. If I keep it in 2nd gear I can run it as high as 4700-4900 rpm till it starts to miss and backfire at which point I either let off or the truck goes into REP mode and which point I have to shut it off and start it back up. I'm not using any meth yet but still, I woulda thought it would be alittle higher number wise. The boost gauge isn't sensitive enough to be able to read the variations in boost, it flickers at times but otherwise is pretty settled at 6-7psi.
I also installed a boost controller but got hung up because I didn't have the correct brass fittings to finish the job so that's on tomorrow's list of things to do in addition to pulling the plugs and re-gapping them. It will also give me a chance to see what the tips look like.

And in case anybody missed it....
