Default Black Sheep, RCSB 4WD

Figured I might as well start this post so I can track money.

Picked up a 2006 GMC RCSB 4WD with low miles at 75K. Decent option list, 5.3 Flex Fuel, rear defrost, Nuclear G80, tow package, SLE, and 3.42 gear set.

Truck for my area is beyond clean since the salt gives them cancer in the Midwest. Took about 6 months to find, actually wanted a Silverado, but oh well, body condition was too important.

Previous Sierra I had was a RCSB 2000 white 4WD, but sold since I got too heavy into my Camaro at the time. Joined back when this was a LS1 tech sub section

This is just a toy and truck to haul items for the home, nothing crazy.

Contemplated going FI but really do not want to buy a trans, rear end, fuel system etc... Been there and it adds up quick.

So it is getting the vanilla stick 212/218 LL, 243's missing 30, LT's, NNBS intake, Volant. Not sure where the pig will end up, but where ever it does that is how it will stay, kids and the home are priority at the moment.

I did lower the front with purple keys, and the rear by drop shackles/block delete. Front sits at 34" the fender lip and the rear is at 35 5/8" quarter lip. Bilstein shocks all around. Only have driven it about one mile since the drop. Needs an alignment.

Changed out the crusted old wheels for some 6 spokes from down south and some new Michelins 265/70/17

Exterior got vanish tonneau cover, GM bed rail covers, Z71 tailgate lip, 03+ Silverado tail lights. Plan to vinyl wrap the front and rear bumper chrome possibly if I get bored.

Have all the parts except for the heads are at the machine shop, headers are back ordered. Once they become available in the next month or so I will get into the engine.

I did get my old man to purchase a 99 RCSB Black Sierra SLE 4.8 2wd 90K for $3,300 to haul his boat. He will not part with it.

Picture of how it sat when I bought it, previous owner cranked the keys a little. Current pic of how it sits, basically looks like a stock 2wd with 31.5" tires.

Dont mind the rust stains on my driveway it was my Tacoma's frame rusting away.

I like it a lot! Very similar to my black 05 RCSB Z71 Silverado. Mine's lowered the same way and sitting on 18" factory 5 spokes off a 2015.

This is all I have at the moment. It's before I swapped to the 06 black front valance and added the Z71 spoiler below it.
