I cut it at the pillars. All you really need is the skin, The structure you need is bonded to the roof skin.

Any way. I unplugged the wiring harness too the roof and cut it off at the pillars. complete with sun roof assembly, head liner, and the over head console with the switch in it. Hell even the third brake light still in it.

I had sacrifice the slider to save the sun roof... didn't have time to call a glass guy. Was headed to be scraped.
PGW I think made the rear slider.

Oh and I saved the special rear cab vents that are specific for the sun roof that are unobtainable. The sun roof drains out of them.

@strutaeng I love sunroofs. I have them opened just about every day if it is cool enough/not raining. So nice to have fresh air even if it’s shitty DFW air.

@1FastBrick I really need to visit my family in California more often so I can hang out with you and view your stash.

www.youtube.com

Either those lights are messed up with the wiring or these bulbs just don't play nice with the truck. They are cheapy Amazon bulbs so I wonder if that may be it.

Also picked up the Esky antenna delete cowl for $10 the other day. Nice little find.

If they are LED, then it's probably the bulb. Some led systems will not dim.

That’s probably what it is. I bought these cheapy bulbs for my Impala because it was documented they worked.

I’ll pick up some real ones and swap.

X2. The Led's especially cheap ones don't play nice.

@1FastBrick What are you running? Halogens or LEDs and if the latter what brand?

SuperBrightLEDs has some canbus ones I think should work fine although they are sold out of dome light bulbs
