I was waiting on it.... every project I do an post pictures some asks about the floor Rustoleum Epoxy kit found at Lowes. I've re-done it once in 5 yrs. $100.

That is the plan. Gonna make taping fun. Have to rig up someway to hold up the tailgate cause I can't paint it on the truck and get paint into the gap between the pan and tailgate.

I wouldn't worry. The welds will be stronger than what's around it. Unless you meant down the road, it could crack. In that case, as Roger said, redo.

That's my only worry to doin a rollpan. Not to mention, I got rearended this winter, & some yrs back in my Camaro. But I think I might have an idea; I could just keep a hitch on in winter. I didn't know bout the rusting idea, thanks.

That's easy. Put tailgate on sawhorses. As always, nice work Roger. You always have something going.

The pan I got off e-bay. Something like Roll Pan Wharehouse. Sir Michaels hitch. Precision Flip Plate. About $500 in it all

Spent a little more time with it this morning. Can't touch it again till next weekend. Traveling all week. Bought some cheap turndown tips to get on it, filler and body work next.

Grinding sucks. I am sore.

The fancy license flip doesn't go up high enough to get the hitch in Don't know whether to make it work or find another.

Time to color match the tail gate handle and the door handles also.

Major change in look.
