get u one of those carb engine lift plates for reinstall. Will make life way easier.

She’s back and thumping away. The low oil pressure and knock on the old motor ended up being a #1 rod bearing. The piston was also out of spec on the pin side and had to be replaced. It kissed two valves as well when the bearing went. Sooo, that being said she’s cleaned up and back together. Block was also half filled, replaced oil pump with a high volume melling unit. Also he old flexplate was drilled for balancing it appears along with the harmonic dampener. So those got replace and a tci plate installed. Cam was dropped down from a 271/291 to a 258/274, custom spec’d be Bob Cook at Cammotion.

Now I just need some warm weather!


I made one, much better going back in lol.

I like to run true street with a 28” no w classes. Also some grudge stuff.
