Thanks man! Yeah she's rollin, we going back out next weekend for a small tire shootout. I got new slicks coming and we going to go up to the 200-225 jets and set what she'll do. "Hope" to go a couple rounds.
Track is sturgis dragway so it's at 3000 above sea level and 3% grade. So not known as a fast track by any means. I'm hoping with the cool temps the big power guys will have trouble and give me a little room. We will see!

still at it, went to Sturgis SD 1/8 mile for small tire shootout. Got a bunch of testing in but learned 3400ft track elevation is no joke. DA was over 4500 for the day. That said got some new best. 200 shot with 9 degrees pulled went 5.69. 225 shot with 11 pulled went 5.58@123, 1.25 60. Best 60 of the day was 1.24. Only changed since last video was more timing, anti roll bar setting change, 28x10.50 stiff wall m/t's. Leaving at 3000 rpm 2-step 40% progressive ramping 100% at 1.1 on 200, 1.3 on 225. Still on straight C16.
200
First 225
Adjusted front end limiters and shocks, slowed ramp from 1.1 to 1.3. 225 shot

Little update, traveled from ND to Nebraska for a small tire shoot. Just trying to get a few more runs in before the snow falls. We ended up getting second place out of a 8 car shootout. Wasn’t able to make the last race because after the burnout the car had a knock in it so I shut it down. It’s either a main or rod bearing. I been watching a low oil pressure issue since I got the car and after 3 track visits it spun. Any case should have Engine at local builder within a few weeks to get a complete update on her. Hope it’s a simple fix cleanup and bearings. Attached weekend fun! Was a great weeekend even though we didn’t get to finish last race.

Thanks wretched!
Walledition yeah was a little bummed but honestly kind of knew it was coming and glad it happen the way it did. Reds been getting some day light on nice days, but where I’m stationed at in North Dakota the tracks are super picky about cages and what not. Reds just a street truck, no cage for her. =)

She’s out getting freshened up and inspected. Also getting mains pinned and block half filled. Considering switching from the real street plate to the sledgehammer or going direct port. Any one have similar experience making the switch? Would really like to get this car setup on around a 300 and let it ride every time out on it.

carb guys seem to have great success with the vic jr/sr intakes with the nitrous outlet puck. make sure it fits your classes, and I'm not sure how big of a PITA it makes jet changes. the stinger also produces great results.
you can never go wrong with the tried and true sledge hammer & crosshairs.
