You can do it two different ways. You can install a custom 27 spline output shaft in your 4L80E, or you can install a custom 32 spline input shaft in your transfer case.

There is a writeup in the sticky section for the transfer case gear. Complete with pictures.

Do the swap in the T case... otherwise the output in the trans is a HUGE weak link.

Just to set your expectations to buy a new input shaft and have it machined will cost you about 600. Obviously its cheaper if you use your existing piece... but then it becomes difficult to go back to stock if you ever wanted to do that.

I hear ya! Probly won't go back to stock. The Trans is in and started pulling top end can't believe how close the high rise is to stock 6.0 intake.

Made some headway. Kooks headers showed, pulled heads/ rockers, cleaned block surface, pulled stock cam, installed new cam, new ls2 timing chain, melling oil pump,ls7 lifters and new buckets, LS9 headgaskets, ls3 heads with Arp Bolts, test fit intake, ordered adapter connectors for 60lb ev1 injectors (had laying around), upgraded trunions in rockers, installed rockers checked piston to valve clearance, installed headers... Pretty productive day.. Called in "sick" lol!

Pulled oil pan today cleaned up block surface, kinda shitty had to pull the diff down to get pan out because I just rebuilt it last month the bearings were pitted bad and it was howling like crazy. I'm going to replace the trans cooler lines and also the engine oil cooler hoses. Because they have been leaking for probly 20k miles atleast. Then it's pretty much ready to go to the dyno. I had to order special connector adapt to the ev1 connectors I'm runnin so should be ready to rock.
