Do the vapor ports on the 525 walbro need to be submerged at all times? If so, I don't think I can stagger them and extend the filter.

Well 465's and 325's you can't, but the 525 should be similar to the 450. I'll get with walbro and find out and get back to you. The 450 has a 10mm inlet while the 525's have an 11mm inlet.

Will do. Only issue may be the adapters may need to be enlarged to accommodate the wider inlet on the pump. 525 is 11mm and 450 is a 10mm inlet.

where do you see that the 450 is 10mm inlet? i only see 11mm. from what i can see is that the inlet and outlets are same between the 450 and 525

At the bottom of this page, description states: Outlet diameter: 10mm (3/8") Diameter (upper body) 39mm Diameter (lower body) 50mm

If you have the adapters that fit onto the pump and the 450 filter, I can probably just have the one where it fits on the pump machined and take 1 mm off. Then the tubing you have can be used along with a 450 filter that has the smaller diameter inlet.
