Default Project no more wheel hop!!!!!

Long story short....this is what happens when you make 744rwhp, have very sticky 16" wide tires, its 90+ degrees out, you know you haven't set the shocks up yet and the crew of food networks diners, drive ins and dives wants to see a huge burn out. Wheel hop + a horribly paved road + my dumb *** =

It could have been waaayyyyyy worse. The bed is actually not that bad. Doesn't need paint. The paint is all set it just needs to be straightened.

My ***. I should have taken it back to the chassis shop like I was supposed to and let him finish loading the suspension once the build was done. I never did. I spun the tires just fine at 70mph on the high way, but every once in a while I would get some hope around town, hammering on it at low speeds. Oh well. it will be back, running better than ever very soon.

I havn't made any "real" passes yet. Went to the track once on the street tires. Best et was an 11.10 @101 (didn't shift out of 2nd but went 106.2 in the 1/8) best MPH was around 130mph.

As far as the fix....new 1/2" studs, one new rotor, and have DMC Racing set the load on the 4-link. As for racing, I have a 2nd pair of 40 spline axles with 5/8" inch studs so I will switch them out and run those at the track.

I really can't be pissed this happened. **** is going to happen with a truck that runs a full spool, 16" wide tires, makes over 700rwhp on its LOW tune and is driven on the street very, very, very hard.
