Yeah, he's got some good plans for his truck. He had an issue today with his gears getting swapped though, I think he got unlucky and took his truck to a shady shop but hopefully it works out for him.
Btw you got any pics of your truck with that drop in your sig?

Two years ago there were like 5-6 of us that would spend all night on the forum and sleep during the day!! ahhh the good ol days!!
And yeah I'm on the West Coast, and I also don't work so I can go to bed whenever the heck I want!
Thanks! This is more than I expected at this stage of the game!! I was worried I was gonna be driving around a turd for a little while before I went FI but this is lots of fun!

Your thinking of something called Tubbing. Difference than C-notch. I think your putting way too much thought into the tire thing. Pick a rim that you like (IMO don't go bigger than 22) than find a tire that fits your style of driving. If you drive on streets and like speed racer get some lower series tires, if you do some crappy roads with an occasional gravel or dirt driveway/road get some thicker walls. The Drop is what makes or breaks a look IMO. Also if you don't plan on getting a tune anytime soon you might wanna stick with a tire that's stock height so your speed won't be off.

I'm not really worried about the rims just yet (no money, lol). I've just been thinking about it a little the last week or so because I've seen a few trucks with 2/3 drops on 22's and wanted mine to look like that, but then I started thinking about a 4/6 drop and didn't want to end up with a tire that was too tall (I know they could fit, but it would be with a 30-35 series tire which doesn't have enough sidewall for me).
