BTW nice work on build, i really like that fact that you had some issues/problems but you seem to still be upbeat about the project!

Yeah, but as of right now it fits, or so I think it does, tomorrow will be the true test when I start it up. If you know how it's wrong or what direction it's supposed to go let me know and I'll try it out.
Early last year I was cruising around the gulf of Aden headed up to the Suez canal and we got caught by some pirates and they started shooting at us with AK's and RPG's. Of course I call the skipper up the the bridge and he's freaking out and ducking behind the windows and what not and he looks over at me and I got this **** eating grin on my face
and he's like WTF is wrong with you. I'm thinking "how fun is this!!!"
Just my nature I guess!
happens...so grab a handful and fling it at the guy next to you!

Aight so anyways, I got most of the knickknacks done and finished today. Started off by bolting this rotten and rusty Y-pipe onto the headers...

Only reason I'm doing that is so that when I start the truck the O2's aren't sucking in air between pulses and throwing the sensors' misinformation. Hopefully with the Y on there it will prevent to much back flow, at least up to where the sensors are. When I do my exhaust it will be a X-pipe too, I like the sound of those alot better!!!
Next I wire wheeled and primered, and wire wheeled some more this intake tube...

Not sure what was on it before but it was some nasty **** so after a little bit of elbow grease, some primer and paint I got it looking like this...

Here's the paint I used, should do the trick I hope!!

I also fixed some brake lines on the front tires that I had not secured to anything, used some split loom and made a couple brackets and secured them as best I could for now, not pretty and don't have pictures of it either!!
I did get the wheels on afterwards...

And then took the truck off the jack stands...

I think with the bed on it'll take the rake out of it but I'm anxious to get it out of the garage and take a good look at the stance, I really like it already, not too low but low enough!!
I also ran the FPR reference lines as well as the EVAC hose vents to some breathers, not ideal and I will build a catch can in the future but for now this will have to do the trick!

Bought a bracket at a hardware store and started drilling and hacking it up...

After I was done I sanded it down and painted it...

I also painted my Fuel pressure sensor because I figure if I black out the engine bay people won't be able to tell how ugly and messy my engine bay is!!!

Not all that interested in the engine bay ascetics anyways, so I'm not gonna powder coat and paint every little thing but I do want to get rid of the red Silicone hoses, anyways, this is what the engine bay looks like as of right now...

And here's the bracket holding the breathers...not pretty but will do the trick until I can build a catch can...

So all that's left to do tomorrow is grind a groove into the engine dipstick, paint it, and fill the truck with fluids and hope she starts!! And if she does I'm gonna throw the hood back on, followed by the bed and....
