ARRGGGGGGG...
I don't know if I spend more time working on the truck than I do looking for **** that I need!
I ran around to 5 different Auto parts stores this morning looking for Dextron III ATF and apparently nobody sells/makes it anymore. Talked to FLT and they said it isn't the first time they've heard of this problem so finally I found some Valvoline stuff that seems to be right although it doesn't actually say Dextron III on it.
Then I talked to Dave at Yank and the bolt pattern between the flexplate and the TQ only allows for three bolts...not ideal but ok fine, he doesn't have them so now I'm calling around trying to find Grade 10.9 M10x1.5mm 16mm long bolts that I need and nobody around carries them apparently.
Amount of time spend on the truck = 0
Amount of time spinning my wheels looking for **** = 6 hours so far today!

Wish I had a shop with everything at my disposal like some speed shops have! (I can dream can't I?!?)
Rant over
Peace

Im not coming out to LA to go shopping for shoes, I want to enjoy the women that make LA famous.
They ought to get a kick out of my cowboy boots, pearl snap shirt and my custom black leather belt, for some reason I dont think Ill fit in too well there
I see how it is, leave the step daughter with the gay guy
Type in specialty bolt company in a search engine. Ive got Austin Bolt Company here that I can get any bolt I could imagine. If you ever cant find something let me know I can swing by there and pic up whatever it is you want.

****-a-bunch-of-hardware-and-autoparts-stores-I-hope-they-all-go-out-of-bussiness!!

Thanks Cody, after the 4th hardware store of the day I called ARP for the third time and this time the guy on the phone knew what I was talking about and said that they did have it so I ordered a set and they should be here thursday...I hope.
You know what I'm gonna type in what you said in a search engine and I bet you $100 that there's one two blocks away and they have a surplus of them...
Maybe I should do it just for sanity's sake!
