Actually I thought that too until I started fiddling with them.

Probably a good guess...from now on I'll just say 3/5 to keep from having to go through that again! The benefit of the notch is that the truck retains it's stock suspension travel. Rarely if ever does it hit the bump stops.

yea I copied that notch picture for future reference when I go to drop my truck. A little plate steel and my hobart 180 Mig should make quick work of that project

I may have not clearly stated what I was trying to say. My bad. A better way of me saying it, would be, the "directional swirl", if u will starts @ center & at its furthermost point, actually points to what is proper direction. But ya, we're both on same page.

Got a call from UPS and the Flex plate and TQ should be here tomorrow, so most likely gonna drop the motor in tomorrow depending on what time the delivery man shows up...hopefully he will come in the morning.
After that I'm flying to S.F. for a wedding so won't be around this weekend to work on it.
After I get back I'll put the tranny in and then start hooking up wires and hoses and sensors. I have a good idea of what I will do regarding the intake and injectors but not 100%. A smart man would order things now so that they will be here when I need them but I've never claimed to be a smart man!

I'll sell you the stock mirrors!!

Yeah I'm not worried as much about the color mismatching with the mirrors. I can live with it until I get a paint job. Most people won't notice it and if they do they'll think I did it on purpose cuz it matches the wheels and brake lights!

Tell me about it...I think any play money I had set aside for the truck is destined to be used to pay off this impending ticket that is forthcoming. I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3K so it's gonna be ugly!!

And I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the mirrors yet. I've learned to hold on to stock parts so for now I'm gonna keep them JIC, will let you know if I get rid of them though.
