Coming together nicely!

On a side note, I have that same compressor I have to move it from my back yard to the front when I want to use it and the wheels have broke off already. I don't know if you are going to be moving it from that spot or not. I had to put inflated tires on it, I have a rough terrain from the shed to the drive way.

I have nowhere to move it to really, so I think I'll be good. Thing is heavy so I understand your dilema!!

Bring it up here and I wouldn't mind cranking a wrench or two.

I'm going to pull my air pump too this week. All of those hoses add too much clutter. I have a radiator sticker from a 99 vortec cali truck w/o air to stick on.

Plan is to drop the forged 370 and the FLT Lvl 5 4L80E into the RC and run it N/A for a few months.
...I hope to have the Wilwood disk brakes on her as soon as I get her down here. I'm kinda excited to see how a RCSB stops with the Wilwood Big Brake kit (16" rotors and 6 piston front calipers and 14" rotors and 4 pistons calipers in the back) and Hydro boost. I think I'll have more fun going 100-0mph than I will going 0-100mph!
This isn't gonna be a GMRacer build (I only wish I had those skills), nor will it be a 8Alting (already dropped too much $$ in the last one) but will probably be a Grippy build. Sorry in advance for those of you who are impatient!
...
Here I thought it was ridin high cause it was parked atop a tranporter dolly.

Kinda hard to fit 16" rotors inside.

I'm entitled to be silly cause I spent over 2 hrs. today reading your thread.

Kermit's finger.

Goldmine in a junkyard...got me there.

I call em like I see em. A guy sells his truck, slaps a TVS on a G8 before a race even shakes down. The other changes his combo like underwear.
But they both have good taste.

Well I dropped her back down to the ground so I can drop the engine in...I don't have nearly the ceiling space to do it while the truck is in the air!!

Also spent the better half of the morning clearing out the engine bay so that the engine could drop in. I got most of it out of the way so maybe I'll drop the engine in tomorrow. Question though...would it be worth waiting till I get the flex plate before dropping it in or just do it now and put the flex plate on when it's already in. I'm pretty sure I can reach and get to it but just curious as to if I should wait.

Also started lining up my nuts and bolts. Had a big box of them and I'm pretty certain on about half of them...so after that it's process of elimination!!

What is that bracket for that's above the water pump gaskets and bolts bag?

These motor mounts look good, was thinking about replacing them but I think they still have some life in em.

WOW man... just WOW... very sweet build and I can see how dam much money is being thrown at it haha

couple things: that bracket should have a plastic piece on it for the heater hoses to 'clamp' into. I dont remember exactly where it sits, I wanna say pass valve cover. could be mistaken.

WTF is with Cali laws? dam man 90 and u lost your bike? crazy.. what kinda bike is it btw?

and I was just in San Diego this friday/sat... whats wrong with people there? they looked at my truck like they've never seen a loud and lowered truck before haha (I wont say its nice cuz its got so many little things that are big problems to me)
