Thanks again for the excellent writeup and awesome pics. Also thanks for defending us soft-bellied civilians who are unable, for health or age reasons, to serve. I only hope once the truck is all together it runs the way you want it to, and that you will be happy with it.

As for those of you pestering Grippy about the length of the project, why don't you sign up for a term in the military, and then see how much time YOU have to work on your truck?

The military isn't for everyone, however, I for one have found it to be an invaluble experience and a career choice!!

Recieved the 8 rib ATI Power Steering Pulley in the mail today. Lines up just right so it looks like all you truck bubbas will be good to go if/when you order one

Clearance between the WP pulley and the Crank pulley looks really tight,Did you need to shim the PS steering pump?

it went right on, no shimming needed, no clearance issues

Looks good grippy... I keep thinking it looks like the pulley should be on the other side of the hub... I guess its the memories of the ATI P/S 8-rib pulley on the C5 I have in my head where the bolts and pulley are on the outside of the hub. As long as it lines up... thats all that matters.

it used to be the same setup, ATI modified it to work on the trucks
