Well I was waaaaaay behind everyone else in reading up on Grip's outstanding build up! Your a true enthusiast and a DIY master! I envy you and thank you for taking the time to document this as well as you have!

On a Navy related side note, did you make board Grip?? I hope you do pick up Chief as you sound very dedicated and I always respect sailors who care, especially with the trend the Navy's been following the past few years!

I'm an AEGIS FC2 on the USS Ross (DDG 71) out of Norfolk. Been then 4 1/2 years (got 6 in total) and I'm applying for STA-21 this year, trying to go pilot!!

I look forward to the news when you finally fire your baby back up!!

I have not had enough time to completely clean off the polish residue in all the nooks and crannies but still looks pretty darn good, enjoy
