I did manage to test fit the passenger side fuel rail on the drivers side with injectors, perfect fit, gotta love that!

The plan is to send the J-Tube, Blower Head Unit, TB, and fuel rails out for polish

seeing how your truck has been sitting for so long . . .

are you going to drain your tank before you run that motor?

still . . . I'd get that old gas/Stabil out of there, and run it in one of your other car/trucks. That's got to mess with the tuning some way or another.

Just use the fuel pump to pump the tank out

If it has stayed sealed it will be fine for a while. If the gas cap has been off etc. gas will loose it's octane. Toluene and other additives will evaporate off quickly. If you have a half tank or less and there is a large air pocket there may be enough room for a lot of them to seperate. I detonated and runied a brand new set of JE pistons on a 11.8:1 427 sbc one time. I had a half tank of 110 in it and had been sitting there for ~6 months. First time at the track I thought it'd be fine, didn't think anything about it actually. Well that was an expensive lesson. But the gas cap on a 71 Nova doesn't actually "seal".

But come on guys, it's Moregrip. He's going to baby it with that new motor until at least the rest of that tank is used up.

Also, don't forget to check for squirrels, possums, and hornets nests before you fire it up. After all, this is Devin we are talking about.

LOL, I see alot of you guys are having fun at my expense!

I'll probably just dump a can of Torco in there, change the fuel filter and take it easy for a while.

Torco is good stuff,It's probably good insurance to use starting up the new setup until you can do a little logging.
