any helpful hints when stabbing the engine/tranny in solo?

lol, going to add an EGT bung, and do a little maintenance, might even get her coated now that she's down

 

weld ya in a bung for a wide band

 

already have that, just forgot the EGT when we did the exhaust

 

If you're doing both at the same time, get your tranny cross member in first, and use that to balance everything on. It'll be easier to "push" the engine side to side. Use a long skinny phillips screw driver to line up the holes for when you're letting it down.
