I used to text with him. He coated a bunch of engine internals for my MR2 and did a great job- quick too.

then he fell off the face of the earth via SMS and forums

hope he's alright, he's struggled a lot in life

Moved into a lemon of a house and have been working on fixing tons of stuff. Maybe next year I’ll be able to get back to the truck. I have bigger garage now too. Someday I’ll be burning rubber in it….someday

Don’t forget to polish transmission valves/regulators….drop that RA number down

Edit: Forgot to mention to not chamfer or break the hard/sharp edges on the valves in the transmission. The hard/sharp edges act as “wipers” in the bores and prevent foreign material from entering this .0008 -.00025” clearance. (Human Hair = .002-.007” and piece of paper = .0045”)

Left polished

Right Polished

Haha….I only mow in the late afternoon/early evening. Mowing at 10am with dew still on the grass makes for a duller cut and rips more so making for a bigger stressor on the turf. Not to mention the deck clogging…..Stick to late afternoon/early evening and the stress of cutting isn’t compounded by the midday heat as much and you’ll get a better cut. Also use a big boy Diesel 997R 72” w/ front and rear Tweels and Z glide casters
