What do the dimples do? Is that a 10296 pump?

Haven't fully made a decision on what I'm going to do. But my plan involves flaring the inlet.

In theory they retain oil and allow for lubrication between the gears and front cover/housing on areas that don't normally see any lube. I dimpled both sides

My crank/rod bearing clearances are all about 0.0027" and those pressures where measured with a 20w-50 oil. I have to pretty much demand as much pressure as I can get as I'm running a crankshaft that is probably safe around 800-1000 horsepower at the flywheel. On top of the cog drive F2 hanging off the front, the crankshaft has seen at or maybe even a little over 1500 horsepower based on fuel consumption. Of course I have to give 250 of that horsepower back to drive that blower.

After about 45 passes I had to tear the motor down to fix some other issues and the bearings looked awesome minus some wear on the edges from the crank flexing like a wet noodle.

Im a bit tighter but with a aluminum block though so it'll open up more than yours at temp. .0018" mains and .002" rods. I'll run 10w40 conventional oil for break in then switch to Joe Gibbs Driven LS 5w30 afterwards. Shooting for 75-80psi oil pressure at WOT.
