I did put a jakes transmission in turbo truck about a month ago before I started having issues with it. I will try and get it figured out soon.

Bought a piece of vinyl off of ebay and wrapped them on both trucks.

I know how the internet loves opinions and I'll give mine lol. I liked the black wheels better, I guess I just don't understand the deep dish, huge tire, stick out look. It's just going to throw rocks at the side of the truck.

I do like the standard GMC grill better than that black one though.

lol black wheels look better? Your nuts! They are not very wide wheels but they do stick out a couple inches.

Well from what it had to what you went with, I like the black ones better.

Overall, I hate black rims with a passion though LOL. It's way too played out and makes the rims look smaller than they are.

Finally figured out a few issues I had with the truck. I had a spark plug wire loose and was running funny. Got some leaks taken care of and my trans temp gauge installed.

Got Cal Tracs installed and a rear sway bar. Handles alot better. I am hitting about 20lbs of boost. Only on a 2 bar map. I am getting some detonation at the top end. Could the map cause that? I have a manual boost controller that I need to get installed to turn it down to about 15lbs.

Well a 2 bar runs out at 14.7 psi, so it's very possible it's not getting enough fuel up top and causing an issue.

Well thats asking for trouble...might want to get the boost under control or youll be pulling the motor soon if its not already hurt.
