Default Pab's 92 Silverado-Getting Mods!!!

AUGUST
So I picked up this beauty a couple of months ago. The truck is a 92 Silverado with 83k original miles, 5.7, 700R4 w/3.23's. It's in cherry condition and stock, I figured it would be the perfect base to dump money on.

First thing I took it to get dyno'd. Wanted to see where the truck sat. After 23 years the truck still sits at only a 20% drive train loss.

SEPTEMBER
Now to start! The exhaust as we know is extremely restrictive on these trucks so that's what I changed first.

Went with the Flow Master y pipe and cat along with the Dynomax super turbo cat back. Really happy with the sound!

OCTOBER
The belt needed changing so I figured I'd get rid of the old fan and replace them with some nice dual electric set up. The truck must have been sitting in a barn at some point because the radiator was caked with hay, hair and/or feathers, soooo I upgraded instead of cleaning.

These are the fans I used, they work great. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...52140/10002/-1

Also got an Optima redtop, picked it up brand new for $100 due to a coupon.

Forgot to mention that since the shroud was removed the stock upper rad hose was being eaten up by the alternator. Removed the stock one in place for a stainless steel version.

Nice man I used to have one exactly like that, including purple paint and stepside. Drove it all throughout high school. Wasn't quite that clean though.

NOVEMBER
I received some packages in the mail this week...going on monday! The brakes were making noise so I figured I might as well up-grade, and the gears was already next on the list. I decided on 3.73's being that my end goal is a nice well rounded cruiser.

Thanks. I really lucked out finding this one. Got it for a great price too!

Super clean. I had a 92' Sierra stepside, did a 4/6 drop and nice 17" wheels. Developed a rod knock a week later. I was younger and poor, had a car payment, etc. So I took the wheels off and sold it. I miss that truck even though I didn't get to enjoy it much.

Yeah I've been thinking on the suspension but I'm not sure if I should do 4/6 or 2/4. Here's a full profile picture sitting on 18's front and rear.
