They are NGK plugs with ACDelco's name on them I guess. They were all the same plugs. They had both NGK and ACDelco's part numbers on them as you can see in the pic.

^^ Thanks Corey. I've been rereading through your thread the past few days getting ready for this turbo build.

Yesterday I got the heads cleaned up and the mating surface flat. I just used some brake clean and a razor blade to get the old gasket material off. Today I cleaned up the block and added the head studs. Luckily I got an 2003 4.8L block so my head studs will swap out when I throw the 408 back in the truck. Here is how it sits now. I need my cam to come in!!

Got some goodies today. NNBS intake, LS9 head gaskets, LS2 chain, and Tylers pulley tool.

The NNBS intake came with an evap purge and I realized I haven't run one since the V6 was in the truck. I'm thinking that the canister by the tank was just left open to the atmosphere when I put the sbc in. Should I just run some 3/8 vacuum hose from the EVAP purge all the way back to the tank or keep it unhooked. I realize it doesn't make a performance difference so what are your guys' opinions?

Last night I got home from a week in California and found my cam and springs on the doorstep. I had to catch a flight to Alaska late last night so on the way to the airport, I stopped by the shop and put the cam in, timing set, oil pump, oil pan and front cover on. I will be home Tuesday so hopefully I can button the engine up on Wednesday or Thursday. Then it's turbo time!!

One of my good buddies came up here to propose to his girlfriend. She is working at the lodge in Ketchikan for the summer. He asked me to come up here with him to do some fishing. The temperature up here is a little better than Vegas right now
