Because they are ********. If you show up with slicks, they make you leave
They try to make it as street legal as possible. Makes no sense to not allow racing tires but it is what it is.

Nah I love Las Vegas. Someone just needs to open a smaller track in town that welcomes locals.
Las Vegas motor speedway doesn't allow slicks and doesn't prep the tack at all when were allowed to race. It's hard to run any respectable times out here. When I get my truck set up to run 9 to 10 second passes, I'll probably trailer it to another track to get some good times.

You realize I plan to blow this 4.8L up as soon as I get a fuel system in the truck right?
My 408 is sitting on the engine stand waiting for some love. I'll be running that once the 4.8L blows a rod out of the block. My goals with the 4.8L have always been 800rwhp so once i do that, I'll just push it as hard as I can at the track. Hopefully some 10 second passes out of it.

Yea that would definitely suck. I obviously won't be running this turbo with the 408 but selling it will help purchase a new one. Maybe a GT55/94.
I'll load it up on a pallet or crate for you if it doesn't let go.
Maybe a little nitrous will help

I bet you can't blow it up! Chevy's are just too good haha

I still need to find a 04-06 fuel tank and order $400 worth of fuel fittings and hose before I can install the manifold. Should be fun as hell to get all that in at the same time and turn it up to 20+psi
