we ran into a little snag that we had to work thru.

we got it running on the squirt but no matter what we did it was missing, lean miss, buring our eyes. after trying a few things we determined out injectors were shooting too much fuel right down the outside 4 cylinders. we tried diferent injectors but that didn't help. ran down to 28lb units with 6 holes wich should be pretty fine mist but it was still just shooting right across the elbow and into the oposite cylinder.

we tried a few ways of deflecting the fuel to help it dispurse better and it helped. reflecting the fuel with a small plate so it ended up shooting almost strait up got it running the best so we welded 4 small plates right in front of the injectors.

now it starts and ildes and revs well on the 4 elbow injectors. we also got the tranny and converter in along with the shift kit. driveshaft is measured up. parts are on the way for the big fuel system. might get to goto the dyno in a couple of weeks.

Sick build!!! I have an older truckin' mag that they welded 2 injectors into a custom buil tbung roght in front of the throttle body to kick in under boost on a 4.3. I'm not sure if you could use the current t but if it still gives you problems I don't see why you couldn't use one throttle body at the manifold and put the 4 injectors in the top of the T pointed into the throttle body. That should help with the fuel problem. just my 2 pennies...... STILL A SICK BUILD!!

I can't believe I forgot about this project! It's come a long ways since the last time I checked. Looking forward to the finished product, and some vids.

What an awsome build! I love seeing custom setups like this. Keep up the good work. I'll be following this one for sure!

Personally I like this one better, except for something is wrong with my front end apparently. Hey a man can dream can't he?

I'm a sucker for Arrival blue and tire smoke. Sounds interesting playing with fuel spray. Glad to see you guys worked through it. I'm looking forward to the dyno results.
