To me it's wire issue because the log file shows it peg at 158mph unless the sensor is bad.

I'll have to take another look at the wiring pinouts for that connector. They really shouldn't put the same color in a connector with only like 8 wires... Hasn't thrown a code yet

my truck does the same damn thing, i was thinking the exciter ring had some dirt on it ill have the trans guy look at it when i get it beefed up next week

Update...I do have 4th gear and converter lockup. I must not have driven it far enough on a single stretch of road last night to see 4th gear. Plus with all the torque management in the tune now its hard to feel the shift. But my speedometer still doesn't work, and HPT reports 158mph...

HPT also gives me an error when I read the VCM, it says "Invalid VIN/OS pair. VCM flashing is disabled". Still on square one with that problem.

Seems that I did not give Justin at Blackbear the right VIN information, so there is a mismatch in VIN/OS data. I am sending him my spare TCM tomorrow to flash in the proper VIN.
