Finally put a bigger spring in the wastegate today. Hit about 11lbs, stock fuel pump didn’t like that so I quickly let out lol. The 3 bar map sensor I’m running only read 136kpa. Ordered a new one. Gonna do the pump asap. This thing is gonna feel great!
2200 is a steal for that truck though, honestly man they could of easily sold it for more. I see beat up trucks like that for 5k and above all day and yeh i guess its not too bad if you put a turbo on a stock truck. I did that at first and fried my transmission then ended up buying a level 4 from frank, there 3700 and then the rossler transbrake was 800, pan another 300 so just in my transmission ive got about 4800, I have around 6500 in my motor, then truck is on holley and a have holley can module, also current performance integrated harness. Circle d converter, bosch 210 injectors, huron speed dual 525 hanger and pumps, single plane manifold with edelbrock 90, and many more parts so yeh long story short my truck has quite a bit of money in it and that wasn't the plan it just spiraled into that.
It’s easy to happen without trying lol. I’ve been down that road on plenty of hondas. Over the years I realized the builds I like the most are kind of trail and error to see what works and doesn't work and make adjustments from there. I don’t really build anything “fast” but I usually enjoy the stuff I build allot. My s10 is a riot to drive and I think my insight will be also. I put a super servo and a 40k cooler on this trans and so far it feels good but time will tell. I definitely don’t want anything over 10-11lbs at the most so I might cut this spring down just a tad. The truck really needs the limited slip now lol. I left a big cloud of tire smoke on a second gear roll.

honestly man i had alot of trial and errors on my truck as well and all though my truck has alot of parts in it I still drive it and enjoy it quite a bit. I just keep it tame on the street, I drive it on the street all the time but I dont go over 18 psi on the street and I have it ramping from 14-18 and I keep my wot shift at 6400 on the street as well, naturally if I take it to the track I'd push it further but ive found that's plenty enough for the street and with mine **** just kept breaking so thats how I ended up with good parts, when tranny started slipping I was on my wat to my tuners house to make a few adjustments anx I ended up having to turnaround, then my stock lm7 motor broke a rod and I was able to pull the pan and head and stick another stock piston in it and then a few months later it spun a bearing so I bought an lc9 shortblock from someone, well once I got the shortblock I realized it had junk ebay parts in it so then the build process began and as far as holley goes my buddy that has the shop that helps me alot likes holley alot better then hp tuner and convince me that was the route to go, there is many other stories behind my truck but i think you get the point of how i ended up where im at, mind you though my truck still has ice cold ac, power steering, Bluetooth radio.
. Drove the truck over to my buddys today to get a different 3 bar map sensor off my old 1500hd I had a few years back. Hit boost a few times. Second just spins the passenger rear tire to what seems like 200mph lol. Not really but the tire lights up quick. Should have the shims for the carrier on Monday but wife wants me to take her hiking so we’ll probably do that and I’ll start on it Tuesday. Washed the truck and wife’s car today as well as my Harley. Gonna be 90 degrees the next couple days.

yeh its pretty rowdy, im sure there is vehicles out there faster but I have yet to be outrun on the street, i murdered a hellcat a few months back and a guy a few weeks ago with a turbo bmw pulled up next to me with his go pro on the trunk lid, im not sure what all he had done to it but i heard the turbo and he definitely had tires on it, he was added to the victim list. You will definitely appreciate the limited slip, I couldn't imagine not having it. Do you plan to put some sticky tires on the rear? I use to spin both the et street R from a 50 roll before the traction control ao i could only imagine how much 1 tire would spin.
I have some slightly used st3 toyo proxes on the truck right now which I’ll probably run till they aren’t used up. I don’t care to race anyone wirh this truck really I just wanna be able to enjoy it without it giving me allot of headaches.
Fuel pump and relay are in. Limited slip installed. Trucks 95% of the way tuned on about 10lbs. Spins second from a roll at 60 so it’s enough for me! Took it on a two hour drive to pickup a set of tires for the other set of declads I have 255/45/20 and 285/40/20 which I think will look really good on the declads in this truck. Also added 1.5” tapered rear blocks to the c10 and added a little caster to the alignment.
