trailered it for two reasons, i made a dump pipe for the downpipe by trans so was extra loud and last time out i found out waiting in line to get in is a killer for heat soak.
16-17lbs on e85, im sure it could go 9.50s with some more psi and driver mod
contemplating selling it tho if i can find a buyer.

 

No don’t sell it! That’s a sweet mini truck. Are you still using the 7675? If so at that boost level I would love to know what your back pressure is. I bet it’s getting up there.

 

Yes still on the 7675, and i would have to guess its getting pretty high too, i noticed for the first time on that run the iat’s climbed pretty high for such a cool nite where they usually dont rise that much so id say im reaching turbo limits or close. Also to fight it i have the shift points kinda low and it never goes over 6200, but now im running out of gear as well..

 

Makes sense. I am gonna try a S485 as I spin a few more rpm. I love the cyclones, and this has been a cool build.

 

Put the truck up for sale, and for the responses im getting on fb i priced it just high enough to make people freak the **** out..
i get the people who prefer a stock syclone more than ls, thats an opinion thing. but what really amazes me is how much people have no idea how much money it really takes to do a nice project with no sloppy junkyard bs..
i have my doubts it will sell for what im willing to take and ill be damned if i just give it away, but we will see, i think i might have come up with a plan in my head if i have to keep it time will tell..

In all seriousness I spammed your CL ad to my group chat of car friends and everyone was impressed that it was AWD still, big tires up front and that it was clean AF. My biggest concern for the sale would be the missing HVAC; but anyone with the money and skills to take on this project and push her to the next level and circumvent that. Or maybe they dont want to. It is a beautiful truck, sad to see it for sale

 

You are right it needs someone to take it to the next level, but imo it doesnt need hvac it needs a cage and i dont want to deal wit that is the main reason im listing it. Everybodys opinion is different is the issue, will have to find the right person.

Truck sold a couple weeks ago, got very close to what i wanted for it but still didnt make any money on it thats for sure even tho couple people seemed to think i was trying to..
brought home a new project this weekend, not sure what im doing with it yet but if i ls swap it i might make a new thread, but this thread is done for me for now..
