Default My turbo build..

Well I figered I post up what iv been working on, sold my ls1 and dropped in a 4.8 I got for free, It had a decent amount of miles on it so I went throw it and put new bearing and rings in it along with arp head studs and rod bolts. Im using the stock heads and a 212-212 562 lift 112lsa +5 cam, custom spec'd 3600-3700 stall and 3.73 gears. Heres a few pics of what iv done so far, the cold side piping aint done yet it needs some trimming and adjusting yet I just throw it together to make pics, down pipe dont look the greatest eaither but it will flow fine and it will all get heat wrapped yet..

I can't exactly speak for water cooled turbos because I've never used one, but the rubber hose on that barb fitting might get a little angry with all the heat coming off that thing... I used some rubber hose at first and it leaked a little bit because of the heat-hardened rubber hose. Spaced the hose away from the center section with some fittings, but it still hardened the rubber a bit.

We actually used a passenger side F-body manifold flipped upside down for the passenger side and a regular truck manifold on the driver side, it actually worked pretty good. There was more clearence with the F-body manifold.
