well in the urge of spending......i bought a cam.
its a comp 220/200 .581/.581 112LSA
same as a tsp220.
Im stuck between the 918 and pac springs....ive seen the stories of the 918s so im leaning towoard the pacs.
what do yall think?

ill get the cam out to you asap. the 918's have a bad rep and it seems that even the revised ones have had problems. ive got pac 1518's the better of the two single springs they sell and well i havent run them yet but they sure look pretty! haha all kidding aside they are about the best single spring you can buy but they are a little $$. got mine from a dyno time only motor for about half the new price

I'm running the same cam with the 1218's and a stock converter with no complaints. You'll love it.
Edit: pretty sure I bought the 1218's from Scoggin Dickey as they were the cheapest I could find at the time

im on stock convertor now but plan on getting a circle d 3600.
i really had no intentions on putting a cam in the 5.3 since im going to build a 370. but oh well.

Here ya go:

I think even a Circle D 3000 would make a huge difference. But the cam is easily daily driven on the stock converter.

well i got off work today and headed to my dads shop to find some boxes with my name on it!
so i opened em up and found this-

so to continue with my hidden nitrous install i mounted my micro edge in my overhead console in the garage door opener compartment...

mounted my innovate gauge and callibration button and arming switch in the empty pocket

put my "throttle body spacer" on today....

with the engine cover off

All i got left is to hook up the TPS and RPM wires up to my microedge....i know i can get a RPM signal from a injector.
But where can i get a tps signal? in the microedge book it says for a f-body its at the pcm. is it the same for trucks?
