Shortblock is finished up,just waiting on Geoff with the cam..Been 5 wks...
Ronnie at Wall2Wall said that i cannot run GM mls head gaskets that they only have a 4.020 bore, and that the prc combustion chambers are likely larger then 4.020 as well
So a Cometic gasket PN # 5317 4.130 bore shall be used.
Edit:
After a little research it seems in bore size on the gaskets he gave me is wrong and its 4.039,should work thats what everyone uses.Ill let him do his thing,he said he was going to but the heads on at no charge. Cometics should seal up fine with a fresh decked block and brandnew prcs...
Heres a few pics!

Good luck getting that cam in a timely fashion... Mine took almost three months if I remember correctly. When I do it again, I will be going strait through COMP.

Shortblock looks great btw!

Thanks buddy
Thats what i should have done,i've already waited almost a month and half

As soon as the new lifters and trays come in,we will throw the PRCs on.

Instead of going with ls7 lifters i was looking at those escalade lifters or what not, rated for a little more, ended up not messing with them.

Got burnt out on it over the weekend, needs the stock injectors so i can even idle it, going to swap back to stock 24#'s until tuning.
Should see official start up tomorrow night. Still running stock truck intake on 78mm for now.
BTW i also waited on the cam for 11 weeks...
Most likely putting a TVS on it and 80e swap it. In up coming months

That is funny about the cam. When I talked to comp, they said they could have it shipped with tracking info within 3-4 days. Glad you got it together though.

Everything has been good so far, have around 200 miles on it. I got shelton sitting in the truck today and got some solid tuning with the 44lbs on it.
I have not been treating it to bad,but it has been a blast to drive.

Hopefully next week I will be getting carbongmc's stock intake to start mocking up for the intake swap, finishing breaking it in,then spend some real good time tuning it after.
