Well that is pretty close haha. The engine is at our school shop in Glendora.

Update!

Got the ARP 2000 Rod Bolts in.

I know this seems to be taking forever, but I'm only getting two days a week to work on it.

Patients is key.

Now to get the old bolts and collars out.

Backed the bolts out of the cap until the threads caught the retaining collars and used a wrench to help them out.



















Next, I'm going to order my rod, cam and main bearings. I have to surface the block and then order my pistons and get it all honed. Then get the cam, timing set, oil pump, and some gaskets and get it this short block together already!

looks good steve same rod bots i got. what pistons are you gonna be running? if you got the cash check out the mahles im running that work with the stock rods
