looks very similar to my 370 i as i did alot of the same stuff your doing now.
your very lucky to be able to learn on all new high tech equipment . that will help you in the future for sure.
have you thought about just spedning a bit more and going 408? that is one thing i regretted when i did my 370. a little more money and perhaps a bit more time to wait to get the money but well worth it in the end imo.

I would love to do a 408, but for now I will have to make use of what little budget I have. In the future, I may build a 408 and swap it.

Update!
I got my Cam, Main and Rod bearings yesterday. I spent the evening prepping them. Nothing too exciting haha.
I used a piece of used scotch brite pad and the good solvent tank (this one actually has real solvent in it) And put a light cross-hatch on the surface of the rod and main bearings to help with oil retention. My teacher picked up this practice from Reher Morrison. Plud, it makes all of the bearings look pretty. Haha.
