Well all done for the day, I need a few more sections of pipe to finish.....

Here are a few more pics...

Locating turbo flange...

Flange in position..

A few more sections of pipe..

So far....

Keep in mind, this is just mock-up so to say it looks rough is an understatement... It will look a bit better once it's all welded up...

That is the plan, I'll only be using a schedule 40 45* (cut 90) at the flange for the drivers bank, then 14 gauge exhaust pipe. So it will be a bit smaller.
I hope to have a full day on Wednesday to work on it...

Got off early today, got a bit more done...

I spend almost two hours dicking with a elbow for the drivers bank at the flange but couldnt get it to fit right, I'm not to happy with the strait section cut off at an angle then "beat to fit"... I might change it a bit later down the road...

This is the plan so every thing will fit....

I still need to built the lower elbow for the drivers bank, but you can see there is PLENTY of room...

yeah, seems to me pulling the motor and restructuring the framing into exhaust would be easier. It would be

Thanks guys, well last night I got thinking about all my clearance issues... I thought long and hard about ditching the split flange idea... I dont know what the hell I was thinking when I was tacking the pipes...

Tomorrow I'm starting over, well not completely, but I'm going to change the way I adapt to the 2.5.... Number 8 will have a longer section of 1.5, then it will go to 2 inch at number 6. Then at number 4 I'll go to 2.5 with an elbow. that should give me a bit more room for the drivers side pipe. I know I could get it all to fit now, but I want to have room to wrap it all and build heat shields around the starter and engine mount....
