Default My 97 scsb new motor and blower

Well i have been creepin on this site for about a year now and finally became a member about two months ago, I live in yukon oklahoma. My truck is a 97 single cab shortbed 5spd chevy, I have had it about 2yrs and havent gave it any attention untill here resently when i sold my 2003 chevy 3/4ton with a whipple on it.

I put a new motor in the truck about a month ago, the motor is a .030 over vortec 350 with dished probe pistons, Comp Nitrous Hp 224/236 .502 520 cam, heads have been cut for cam, ported and new valve, and comp roller rockers, intake is a marine mpi intake. The truck has a rebuilt nv3500 about 6months ago "wondering when it going to give up with the new power", and has caltracs in the rear, stock rearend for now.

Last week i just put a wipple supercharger on with an air/water intercooler, i havent drove it because of bigger injectors it wont idle now waiting to get my computer back from nelson performance. Hopefully it runs good

Let me know what you think, i know its not going to be remotely fast compaired to most trucks on here, im hoping for a 12.999 think its capable with this setup?

Cool truck man. Welcome to the site. I've got a 355 short block I need to finish. Wana go turbo with it sometime. How much boost are you supposed to run? 5-6lbs??? I think you could click off a high 12.

The cam you have is pretty close to what I have. I've spun mine to 6500 and it never felt like it was falling off. I had a 142 roots blower and it pulled extremely hard to 6500. You'll have a blast
