Did you do the Computer swap? Arent there issues getting those older trucks to rev out past like 5600 witht he stock computer? I think you need to swap to a 411 PCM.

I think its gonna be a strong truck. The hardest part is going to be trying to launch it, but if you can I would be SHOCKED with all that work if you didnt run pretty well into the 12's.

Vortec350ss, No i havent done the 411 swap, im sure i need to, i shift at 5500 and think it makes enough torque that it will be fine. but i could be wrong. I will probably switch to the 411 one of these days i just dont know much about it so i havent looked into it much.

I have caltracs and there 9 way adjustable shocks, and i will be running slicks, but its no where near ready for the strip, still needs more tunning and need to beef up the rearend, and tranny will probably go here shortly

Thanks! It's been a fun truck and I've had it for a long time. (17" wheels were BIG when this truck was put together). She's set up to pull the boat and the truck was adjusted to the tongue height for the boat trailer..... lol

i remember when 17s where big lol, i will probably just put staggered 18s on mine when i put wheels on it. I have a hidden hitch on mine but all i pull is a trailor with a couple fourwheelers on it everyonce in awhile

well i got the tune back and drove it a little bit, put my boost and wideband guage on, I still need to weld the bung into the exhaust for the sensor.

it surges at idle pretty bad i just think it needs more tunning for that, and anything over 4lbs of boost it runs like crap and cuts out. Im going to try and get the wideband working monday, and see what my afr is, but i think im running out of fuel.

But 4psi makes my old 3/4ton that ran a 14.6 in the quarter seem like a turd lol

what do you guys think im running out of fuel or just need more tunning?

Are you running the stock pump? If so then you are most likely running out of fuel
