Its a 3rd gear mod. Manually put the trans in 3rd with a button. Build boost then launch back in 1st. Sloppy mechanics has a write up on his page for more info

So does the "farmers trans brake" basically engage both solenoids so you are in 3rd gear to build boost then when you release the button it goes back to normal?
