Default My 7 year olds 78 Crew Cab

My son and I are building his truck. It has a more recently built 454 in it that runs great, I installed the turbo 400 in my 70 suburban and the truck is 2wd. I have the hydro boost and the 6l90 with the manual shift t case to install in, I have already cut down the bed and frame, I have a FiTech, duel saddle tanks from a short bed, and a newer gen ac bracket kit to run the pancake compressor. Then I have axles from a 2019 Ford F250 to go under it with a front 4 link and this will also give me an electric rear locker, matching gear ratio and bolt pattern. Truck should turn out pretty good I hope. The cost of paint jobs these days has made it hard to determine what to do to it. We shall see after it runs, drives, stops. My father in law and I sprayed the bed liner last night and that was an exciting step of seeing something clean and fresh on it for inspiration.

Cool build!

Where are located? How much are paint jobs going for there where you live? Maybe you can find a local shop that will allow you to do the sand/prep and they can just paint it to save you some money?
