Kinda glad it happened on the road in the open instead of in my buddy's shop with all his cars and who knows how many people.

Oh well.

Slowly disassembling the engine now and gathering parts to get it going again. Not in too big of a hurry. It's HOT

Next up:
347" or 370"
forged pistons
forged rods
LS9 gaskets
LS7 lifters
GM High volume oil pump
ARP main studs
eBay head studs
317 heads
COMP rocker trunion upgrade
Brian Tooley Dual Valve Springs
LS2 timing set
Speed Inc. TU1 or TU2 cam or JFR 218 Isky Cam
Methanol kit
Nitrous Express nitrous plate

CK Performance 4L80 trans brake valve body
3.42 gears
New tires. Undecided on 28x10.5-15 Hoosier Slicks or 275/60-15 MT Drag Radials
Went with:
370c.i.
Wiseco 4.030 pistons with steel top and napier second ring
6.125 forged h-beam rods
LS9 gaskets
LS7 lifters
GM high volume oil pump
ARP main studs
317 heads worked over by a local machine shop, setup for lots of boost
COMP rocker trunion upgrade
LS2 timing set
AIS Methanol kit
Nitrous Express nitrous plate

BW s480 1.10a/r with 87mm wheel
KB Racing T6 hotpipes with 4" d.p.

Still undecided on a cam

Still waiting on pistons and arp main studs to show up so I can take everything to the machine shop.

Turbo will be here hopefully next week so I can at least fondle it.

Sending the wastegate to Kyle so it can be fabbed up

In the "spending lots of money and not having anything to really show for it" stages right now. It sucks, but parts are slowly starting to roll in.

Also sold the Bogarts. New wheels will be here thursday. Really excited about those.

Hopefully I get to drive it again before the end of the year.

Any particular reason for the change from T4 to T6?

Money. It was cheaper to sell my parts than to buy a t4 turbo I wanted, pay someone to fab me a 4" downpipe and pay someone to weld on my new wastegate flange.

Big t4 turbos are custom most of the time. Custom = $$$

I'm sure my reasoning is flawed but I'm cool with it lol
