Well we were going to really try and turn the wick up and make some power. So we threw some Q16 fuel in it. If you know anything about this fuel, it's some wicked stuff. Has m1 methanol and nitro in it. Potent **** lol. Well before we did that, the truck was pretty rich, like mid 10s. Made a jet change and changed the fuel and it went stupid lean! Like 14-15:1. Had to make ridiculous jet changes(adding fuel) and still couldn't make a clean pull. And it wouldn't make any power. So we drained the tank and put regular 91 in it again. By that time we had already wasted 8 hours on the Dyno and it was time to go. There is obviously still some traces of the q16 left so it's still lean.

Got a few things to fix them we'll put it back on the dyno and try again.

So if you could get the jetting right, How much more power do you think you can make on q16 over regular 93? Just curious

Hard to say really. According to the plugs we were close, but was down 50hp on the dyno. Got it back on gas now, 91octane. If I feel the need I'll just throw some 110 in it. Hope to be getting a meth kit here shortly and see what that will do. Going to get the carb lined out first before anything else happens

No e85. I drive my truck too much to have to worry about and plan my trips around finding e85 stations. I want to be able to stop any station in the world and fill up and be on my way. I wasn't cool with having to carry two 6gallon jugs full of fuel with me everywhere I went. So 91octane pump gas it is!

The question though is do you think you could get better results with e85 or pump gas?

No doubt about it that we could make more power with e85. I'll sacrifice the power for being able to drive my truck anywhere I want though.

On a side note...The 5.3 is no more LOL Was heading home from work, decided to jump on it and all hell broke loose...

You can kind of see a hole in the oil pan on the left hand side...That's very minor of what the actual damage is lol. Pretty much, the bottom of the pan is GONE

**** got REAL for about 30seconds. Oil got under the slicks so it slid around a little, then oil hit the hot pipes and it was on fire for a few seconds. It was WILD

Pretty sure the block is trashed, the oil pan, prolly crank...who knows what else. It's too hot to dive too far into it. The turbo is ok so that's the important part.
