For what they are they are way too expensive. You would think someone would've come up with a cheaper alternative by now.

I got them on ebay. $55 shipped

Main and Rod bearings from ebay as well. $68 shipped

Oh no, ebay is the devil. You cant buy motor parts from there /typical ls1tech post

Good to know, I was just going to do a DOD/VVT delete on my L76 but I think Im going to yank it out and refresh it since its got 125K on it.

Youre still using the ebay head studs too right? If so Im interested to see how hard you get to push them with that turbo.

hahaha we built my last turbo kit with nothin but parts from ebay lol

Still using the ebay studs. This will be my 4th set. Always had good luck with them. This set was the first trouble I've had. The thread were messed up on one. I sent the seller and email sunday afternoon and he replied within an hour and said he'd take care of it. I had a new stud, washer, and nut in the mail today. Pretty sweet.

I've seen guys push them further than I intend to(for now) so hopefully I'll be ok.
