Default My 2000 Z71 Daily Driver

Ive never posted pics of my D.D.

Its a 2000 Z71 ECSB LT

Has 183,000 miles. Came with a 5.3 . Ran great .

I put a custom grind comp cam in the 5.3, a 226 /224 114+4 , PAC 1518 valve springs, Chromoly 7.400 push rods, LS2 timing chain, LS6 oil pump.

Got her back together and the damn lifters just werent up to the task.

I wanted to run boost, so instead of wandering about my high mileage engine,

I bought a 2003 LQ4 6.0 with 45,000 miles.

So i just finshed the swap , also took all the goodies off the 5.3 and put them in the 6.0 , along with a new set of LS7 lifters.

Man i ,love how this thing drives with the cammed 6.0 . Lots more bottom end.

Took some pics today.

Mods so far,

TVS 1900 Blower
cammed 6.0 swap
05 ' EFANS, blackbear harness
Tuned by TJ at baker engineering
Stainless Long tube headers
Steel cowl hood
Moldings removed/debaged, tinted tails, painted grille/bowtie.
Newer 17'' OEM wheels ( my fav.)
K+N CAI
Summit 3'' mandrel bent cat back duals
Shift kit

Gonna head up to B.E.I. for dyno tuning

Next: Trans build/stall converter

Im glad to have a LS equipped truck again, i love my DMAX but have been missing the gas side of things.

Thanks for looking. She cleaned up nice for a 10 year old truck.

And here is a clip of the new engine running.

Thankyou !

Stock manifolds, stock y pipe, summit 3'' cat back. The muffler is a single in dual out.

Its not very loud while driving, i like it but might try a Flo-Pro muffler for a lil more sound, But damn for 200$ that summit kit is very nice, fit good and was mandrel bent.
