I just took a look at different brake setups and a couple different options and I really don't feel like spending 4000 bucks on brakes so I'm going to make the 10 bolt break setup work on the 14 bolt. If I would of Found an older 14 bolt this would of been easy but This one is newer and started out as an eight lug. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Cool progress, keep me posted on the status of the c-clip eliminators. Is your 14 bolt a 10.5" ring gear though?

It's a 9.5 ring gear.

Got my brake situation figured out. Pretty much just making a spacer like you need on the older 14 bolts but this one is only 7/8 thick and drilling and taping the flange on the axle. I'll post up some pics tomorrow night. Anyone know where to get harder bolts than grade 8?

I got my adapters made for the 14 bolt to bolt my 10 bolt brakes up to it and didn't like it. So I'm cutting the flanges off the 10 bolt and welding them onto the 14 bolt. I want to go ahead and put my four link setup on there but i'm not sure what setup I want to go with and I don't have the cash right at this time to do what I want to do. I will post up some pics of what I've got so far. I got a Auburn pro posi for a 2004 10 bolt if anyone is interested.

Default Update

So over the years the aftermarket fuel setup turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Between the fuel cell cap leaking water into the fuel and the fuel gelling up and corroding the fuel pump I'm going to put the factory tank back in and do a twin pump setup in tank.

So when I did my 14 bolt axle swap I didn't put my traction bars back on because the new axle mounted a little different. Well I ended up wheel hopping pretty bad and broke an axle shaft. So I'm getting some new axles. After a little research I found out that the 6 lug axles from the pre 1997 14 bolts are only a 1/16 of an inch short and will work on the newer 14 bolts. And I can pick them up at the local junk yard for 200 bucks for the whole axle.
I think I might put the procharger on the 6.0 and see how long the motor will hold up. I had a 12 psi pulley on the 4.8 but I bought a 8 psi pulley to play it safe. How much power would a stock 6.0 make with 12 psi of boost?

Stock cam still??

I don't see why it wouldn't make 400-500 easy with 12 psi. Just make sure it's not an older 6.0, it might not handle the power very well.

My 4.8 on 12 psi made 485 horsepower so hopefully a 6.0 can do quite a more than that.
