How much power, what does it weight? Whats the setup? You said above it runs 11.5 so for mid 10s you must have some big changes coming, what are your plans. I never heard anything about this truck so based on your statement I am intrigued.

is it krambo? Was he running the 65 on his set up?

Someone over there (sss.com) I know was running the 65 with a high HP set up, and I know they were a member here too.

For me I thought the 80e was a better combo with the Maggie. Longer first gear, and tighter gearing to follow and help the big end. I know I'm not breaking any records, but It gave me peace of mind.

Chuck while you're here, I'm curious what you 'rate' your level 7 65 at vs what I got in the level 4 80e with the billet input.

As I mentioned before I couldnt be happier with this trans. I hope to be pushing it further than I am now some day soon.

Rob,

Not his truck, but he tunes it. Krambo's SS was no joke either, his truck ran 10.80's on the spray before he parted it out. He ran our older version 4L65E-7 before we update it last year. He's also probably one of the best tuners and nicest guys you could know. As you already know Rob I don't rate or play the number game on any of our builds, I think it's a joke when companies tell you guys that B/S! You know how it works here, you tell me what your building and give you my honest recommendation? For guys that don't want the 4L80E, it's nice to offer a strong reliable 4L65E that's been proven. Glad to hear all is well with your truck, I'm sure you'll have a fun summer!

Chuck

Unless its pushing faster times now I dont know if I would say more power, weight is still a factor here. Non the less its still moving out, is that Kevins old blower setup? It seems as though he is tuning it.

11.42 @ 119 with only 12% timing so I would say it makes more power, and certainly will make more this year with it's new fuel system. Yes we all know weight is a factor, I believe it's 5200lbs which is plenty heavy for my R&D purposes.

This is what I know about the build: It's a very well built 370, TVS2300@18lbs., 8 rib setup, overdriven 3.2 pulley. It's not Kevins old blower, but yes he's the mastermind of the h/p this truck will make? I'm sure he'll give you any info you want to know about it if you contact him.

Interesting how much boost he's running with that pulley. Sounds like a solid build... Pat is running something very similar. We'll have to get Kevin to chime on on this thread. When you say overdriven is it a jackshaft blower, or an OD balancer?

Both make more power than I do though... baby steps. It's really encouraging to see people keep making strides with these TVS blowers... gives me something to continue to reach for.
