tranny will be shipped to FLT today, probably looking at 5 day to get there and hopefully they will have it done in a week, than 5 days back, so we are looking at at least 3 weeks, It does really suck but nothing I can do about it.

Default Just part of racing

If it makes you feel any better Mark , I am having the same problems. I built a 06 Chevy Short Bed with a 438 and Rick's Twin Turbo set up. I am only running 16 psi and I have broken one built 400 trans and snapped the u-bolts on the drive shaft . So far the new trans and drive shaft are holding . So just keep fixing the weak links.

Hey ed, good to here from you, Rick has mentioned your build a couple of times. Have you gotten any video or dyno sheets you can post?
I completely missed your first post back in Dec. welcome to PT.Net

Sounds like someone needs to open a tranny shop down the road from Rick.

Default Dyno numbers

Hi Mark I have been watching your build and did not want to say much because this was about your awesome Denali . I just updated my dyno computer and software and as soon as I figure out how to pull the file I will more then happy to post the dyno sheet . I am running C16 race fuel at 16 psi and I put down 991 hp spining the slicks on my dyno. I have lot more work to do . We took the Truck to the track to see what other problems we would have. Out of 4 passes we could not stay on the throttle in high gear because the truck was too loose . Then in the pits we found water in the oil . So I have to pull the heads now see what is up with mls gaskets and why they failed. But that just a part of making horsepower and fixing the weak links. I will keep you posted .
