Congratulations Mark. Seriously, it sounded real quiet...until your foot went down and the front came up, quite impressive. 2 steps forward and one step back, you will be there shortly.

funny thing is, The tranny was the last thing I thought I would have a problem with, I think it will all work out

I think that thing is going to be hell on trannies. ALLOT of wieght and a **** load of torque.

Ya, and thats 1300lb more then Parish. Also you havent even got it to high boost yet. Parish did like 1080hp/1150tq@ 5000lb or so. That whole wieght thing is a big deal, 1300lb makes a huge difference in the life of a tranny.

A problem like that is likely just from a faulty part. You can pay for the best builder and the best parts and in the end a simple bad seal or imperfect hard part can kill it quickly. A 4L80E certainly isn't indestructable either, we replace them in stock trucks at work just like we do the 4L60E's. I'm sure whatever it is should stick out like a sore thumb upon teardown and you'll be set.

Damn mark, that sucks... I thought the 4l80 would be fine at least for a while.. Hopfully Zippy is right and it is just a flaw in a hard part.....
